Once again, the winner is … Parking Spotter
This year, Impact Hub & Samsung Romania have held the second edition of Changeneers, a competition searching for developers who can bring valuable solutions to problems that each of us are facing daily. We can go from community or social problems to health issues which can be solved using technology.
As stated by Impact Hub representatives, “Changeneers is about impact, community, growth and positive change through technology. Here you will find tech startups from different industries, from education to accessibility”.
In the Changeneers 2019 finals were presents 12 tech game changers who pitched their great ideas with social impact. We are very proud that we took part of this event and that we meet all these great people who want to make life better and easier through technology.
As the winner of this year’s edition, Parking Spotter will continue to grow and to improve its solution to help even more people to solve one of the biggest problems of the crowded cities in which we live, the traffic. Indeed, 30% of the traffic is generated by the vehicles that are looking for a parking spot. From this real fact we started to build our solution, trying to give to the society a tool to find easily a free parking place near their point of interest avoiding in this way to waste time surfing around.
With the support given by Impact Hub & Samsung Romania we will continue to grow our business and we will invest resources and time to bring Parking Spotter in people’s attention.
Livia Fericean, Samsung’s Corporate Citizenship & Public Affairs Manager for South-Eastern Europe, said after the contest that “We are happy to support and inspire human progress, through innovative ideas and projects which contributes to the development of the community. That’s why Samsung has the entire admiration for “game tech changers” because they are the one’s who will make the difference in our society by finding solutions to our daily struggles. We want to congratulate all the participants, they worked hard to make their solutions come to life and I am sure that we will meet again because Changeneers is not only a contest, it’s a real community.”
